Working of Complex Pumps

Retrofit Spare Parts
Progressive Cavity Pumps are built and designed to transport liquids of varied nature and compositions. They can handle a diverse range of applications efficiently as they can be customized as per the requirements of the customers. The most common factors taken into consideration while customizing these pumps are the level of viscosity and chemical properties of the concerned media.

The machinery of the Progressive Cavity Pumps consists of a single helix-shaped rotor and a stator. The principle of positive displacement inspires the working of these kinds of pumps. The pump ensures efficient functioning in the form of the rotor revolving inside the stator while pulling the media inside the pump. The media then moves through the cavities lined inside the pump, and exits the pump from the discharge end.

Roto Pumps is one of the most popular Progressive Cavity Pump manufacturers in the market.  Besides providing PC Pumps, Roto also caters to the other PC Pumps manufacturers by providing high-quality Retrofit Spare Parts including rotors, stators and other spare parts such as all ranges of coupling rods, universal joint kits and shafts.

Roto Pumps also provide quality External Gear Pumps that also work on the principle of positive displacement.

An External Gear Pump comes with a pair of gears fixed inside a casing.  One of the gears is powered to rotate by a motor fixed at its end. The rotation of a single gear compels the other gear to move in the opposite direction as the teeth of the gears are locked together. The opposite movement of these gears helps to lift the liquid inside the pump that fills the vacuum between the teeth of the gears and the casing. In this manner, the media is carried from the suction end to the discharge end of the pump.
